Device Interface - Vital Signs

The following is referring to a Welch Allyn Spot Vital Signs monitor system. Contact your MIE Implementer to see if your vision system model can be interfaced or quoted.

Vital Signs

1. Open Enterprise Health .
2. Pull up the correct patient.
3. Add encounter for patient or add vitals by choosing the Vitals chart tab
4. Once Encounter has been added scroll down to Vitals section or enter in via Vitals chart tab. Make sure device mode is selected.

1. Select the Get readings button in Enterprise Health
   • Vital signs will appear on page.
2. Select the add button for the correct set of vitals. (Note: if the device is being kept clean your results should be the only ones listed)
3. Select and submit button and vital signs will be saved to the encounter and appear on page.
4. Select the Clear Device button.
5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select submit to save vital signs to chart.
6. Please note that for metrics the process above is the preferred method for entering vital signs
7. Take patient’s vital signs.

3. Select clear device and submit button
4. Vital signs will be saved to the encounter or Vitals chart tab and appear on page.
